LFT Register overview

Medical Tracker has created a simple and easy-to-use LFT (lateral flow test) register to help schools manage onsite and home testing of staff and students.

How do staff and parents/carers submit results:

Staff and parents/carers will go to the following link and enter their associated email address

This link: https://lft.medicaltracker.co.uk/

Once they have entered their work email address, they click the button to generate an OTP (four-digit passcode). They will then be sent an email containing their OTP (four-digit passcode).

Important: Each time they submit a result a new OTP (four-digit passcode) will be generated.

They would then copy the code in the email and go back to the link

They would then copy the unique four-digit code from the email, and paste the code into the box that has appeared on the webpage. This will then give them access to submit a result.

Submitting their test result

Some fields will automatically be populated with information from Medical Tracker. The sections they will need to fill out are test date, test result, and test strip ID (There are details on this page about locating the test strip ID).

Once they have completed all the details they click the submit button and the result will appear under LFT Register in their Medical Tracker staff or student profile.

How to view results and follow-up

Each result will then automatically be submitted to the 'LFT Register' in their staff or student profile and in 'Reports'. If you have set up automated email alerts for positive and void results then the staff members will receive automated alerts.

Advice can be entered into Medical Tracker which will automatically be sent back to the staff members or parent/carer who submitted the test.
