How to log Staff Incidents

How to create an incident involving a staff member.

To allow your school access to record 'Staff incidents' in Medical Tracker, Firstly you will need to turn this on in the settings area. 

Please head to Settings > General Settings > toggle this setting on

To log a Staff incident, Head to Incidents > New incident > Select which 'Incident' is appropriate. 

Once you have selected the appropriate option, the Incident form will appear on the right hand side. You will need to fill out all the sections which contain an asterisk. You can see at the top it now says Student/Staff. This section will pull through the staff members that show in your Staff module  which has synced from your school MIS. 

If you find that the staff are not showing in the list, please review your School MIS and ensure they are showing as an active staff member. 

Once the form has been filled out it will then generate the Incident shown below.

In here you can attach any documents on the right hand side, edit the document to amend the record or send any internal emails to staff members regarding this incident. 

In More options, You can record a witness statement for incidents to help with further investigation.
