Troubleshooting steps to take if a parent or carer is unable to view and approve a care plan in Parent Approve.
1. Double-check the status of the care plan
The student's care plan should appear like this with a red dot. The care plan should also appear in the Parent to review filter on the left hand side of the Medical Conditions module.

2. Generate a new document link
Occasionally, there can be an issue where the care plan appears to be in Parent to review in the app, but it is not visible to the parent or carer. This can be easily fixed by generating a new document link.
1. Click the Disable parent/carer approval button and click OK in the pop up window

2. Then click Enable parent/carer approval

Note: You do not need to re-send an email to the parent as the link in their original email will still be valid.
3. Click the back button in your browser to return to the care plan. It should appear like this:
