Tracking your school's emergency medication expiry dates

Emergency medication is for use on children who are at risk but whose own device is not available or not working. Medical Tracker allows you to track the expiry dates to ensure they are always within date.

How do you track emergency medication that belongs to your school?

Important: You need to have the appropriate permission to be able to 'Add' and 'Edit' medication expiry to track emergency medication.


Go to 'Medication Expiry' > 'New', toggle on 'School medication', enter the name of the medication and the expiry date:




The medication will now be tracked and you can search and filter the medication by typing in 'School medication' in the name column:

How can we be notified of emergency medication that is due to expire?

Four weeks before the expiry date, any staff member with the notification 'When medication is close to expiry' switched on within their staff profile will receive an automated email notification:
